Hull Creek Archaeological Dig

Hello Trail Workers, Today team MA went on an archaeological dig. The forest service wanted to make sure there were not any artifact of things like burial site or homestead. The forest service guy said we were mainly looking for little pieces of chipped rock that the Indians would have had as they were making arrow heads and tools.

We were in Hull Creek reroute. The old route was too deep to have it be a good long term solution. We have about 140 12′ boards ready for puncheon in that section during WC build.

Luckily, we did not finding anything. My friends Dad was telling me to bring back arrow heads, I told him I hope I do not have the chance.

Now we wait to hear back from the USFS to give us the green light and I’ll put a team together to brush cut the reroute.
